Children and young people that may come to live at Ria House, will have gone through various assessments to ascertain whether they come under the EBD (Emotional and/or Behavioural Disorders/Difficulties). We are aware that this can come with a variety of needs and requirements. For example, children and young people that may have been diagnosed with other needs such as anxiety disorders, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, Bipolar Disorder, Conduct Disorder, OCD, ODD, Hyperkinetic, PDA, at risk of CSE/CCE, substance misuse, attachment, and trauma. This is not an extensive list of further support needs that a child or young person may need, however it is a starting point of what is to be expected.
